Often moving between sound and image, treating both as surfaces to be exposed — layered.

Originally from Florence, with Brazilian-Italian roots, the practice draws from personal archives and sound research, aiming for emotional resonance.


Recent projects involve long-form compositions, study of form, and photography on silence and rhythm.

Caltha is a collection of original compositions by Brian Fasano, created for the short film of the same name, written and directed by Isabel Legate. 
Told in five chapters, the film explores sensations of resistance and transformation through waves of color and sound. Each chapter features a distinct sonic texture– an ethereal soundscape, a sensual undertow, a wall of noise, silence, relief– mirroring the emotional and physical metamorphosis of its central character. 
These compositions were written to support the film’s mythic narrative and emotional contours, but also stand alone as a sonic meditation on resistance, desire, and release.

Mirror is a series of compositions by Brian Fasano created for Isabel Legate's performance.

Twin explores the mirror as a potential portal to another world, drawing inspiration from ancient obsidian mirrors, once believed to open doorways to spiritual realms.

The performance features four tracks that blend slow, evocative ambient sounds with drum-focused rhythms. It showcases a continuous evolution, contrasting slow and fast, bright and dark elements.
